First Officer Terrence Morris

First Officer Terrence Morris is a home grown product of Louisville, KY.  He is a 1998 graduate of duPont Manual High School from their communications magnet. While attending Manual he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. He went on to attend Middle Tennessee State University where he pursued an Aerospace degree and played football. During his tenure at M.T.S.U., Terrence earned all of his flying licenses and was certified to flight instruct while still working towards his degree.

Upon graduating in May 2002 with a B.A. in Aerospace and a Minor in Computer Information Systems, he moved to Lexington, KY to continue instructing out of Blue Grass Airport for one year prior to transferring to Louisville Bowman Field. In March of 2004, Terrence was hired by Skyway Airlines in Milwaukee, WI as a first officer on the Dornier 328 regional jet. Unfortunately in the following May, he received news of a furlough from Skyway. God then redirected him to Chautauqua Airlines where he is currently employed as a first officer on the Embraer 170 regional jet. He is based out of Atlanta, GA flying for both United Express and the Delta Connection. With over 3200 hours of flying experience, Terrence is still young in his aviation career and has aspirations to fly for a major air carrier.

Terrence is coming up on his seventh year as a member of OBAP and this is his sixth year involved with this camp.
