First Officer Jeff Harrison

First Officer (Major) Jeff Harrison is a native of Lothian, Maryland and graduated from Southern High School where he lettered in basketball, football and track. He attended the U.S. Air Force Academy earning a Bachelor of Science Degree and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force in May 1991.


Jeff attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus AFB, MS in January of 1992.  While there he flew the T-37B Tweet and T-38 Talon and received his wings in January of 1993.


Jeff chose the C-130 Hercules and then reported, in July of 1993, to the 772 AS, “Trailblazers”, located at Dyess AFB, TX.   While with the “Trailblazers” Jeff deployed to the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America and Central America and flew numerous combat missions in support of Operations “Forge” and “Storm”.


In May of 1999, Jeff reported to the 62 AS, Formal Training Unit, at Little Rock AFB, AR as a flight instructor in the C-130 to train others how to fly the C-130.  He has trained students from the Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and numerous foreign militaries.


Jeff was honorably discharged from the Air Force in September of 2001 and was hired as a Second Officer at UPS and also as an instructor pilot in the 123 AW KY ANG that same month.  At UPS, he flew as a Second Officer in the B-747 for one year and then changed to the 727 shortly before being activated in support of “Iraqi Freedom”.  He served his two years of activation flying in Iraq, Europe, Africa and Central/South America.  After that tour, he upgraded to First Officer in the B-757 and B-767 international domicile in January of 2005. 


He is married to Monica and they have no children.
